This deTour 2025 workshop, "Becoming: Aerated Identities" explores the relationship between identity, self-perception, and technology. Participants will design inflatable wearable art in 3D digital spaces using tools like Nomad Sculpt, generative AI, and prompt engineering. Through this process, they will examine their "desired real selves" and translate those identities into wearable digital art that reflects hidden desires and self-expression. Activities include defining one’s real self, creating 3D designs, integrating AI-generated visuals, and presenting final works. Expected outcomes include a personalised image of each participant wearing their design, symbolising creativity, vulnerability, and authentic identity. Participants will also gain hands-on experience with digital sculpting and AI artistry.
